Springbank Hill (east) is a neighbourhood of Calgary, in Calgary. The 2021 Census recorded a population of 6,602 in Springbank Hill (east) (people living in private households). Children aged 0 to 14 made up 20.5% of the population. 39.3% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 38.8% across Calgary as a whole; the largest single group was Chinese at 13.9%. 59.3% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 1.4% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 31.7% of the population, compared with 31.5% citywide. Median household income before tax was $158,000 in 2020, compared with $100,000 for Calgary. 11.7% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 3.79 km², giving a population density of 1,740 people per square kilometre (Calgary averages about 300).
