Aspen Woods (east) is a neighbourhood of Calgary, in Calgary. The 2021 Census recorded a population of 4,038 in Aspen Woods (east) (people living in private households). Children aged 0 to 14 made up 25.0% of the population. 50.8% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 38.8% across Calgary as a whole; the largest single group was South Asian at 14.1%. 48.7% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.5% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 39.1% of the population, compared with 31.5% citywide. Median household income before tax was $264,000 in 2020, compared with $100,000 for Calgary. 6.8% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 1.92 km², giving a population density of 2,108 people per square kilometre (Calgary averages about 300).
