Dalhousie (west-northwest) is a neighbourhood of Calgary, in Calgary. The 2021 Census recorded a population of 3,070 in Dalhousie (west-northwest) (people living in private households). Children aged 0 to 14 made up 16.1% of the population. 30.2% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 38.8% across Calgary as a whole; the largest single group was Chinese at 16.8%. 66.0% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 3.8% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 29.8% of the population, compared with 31.5% citywide. Median household income before tax was $117,000 in 2020, compared with $100,000 for Calgary. 18.3% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 1.47 km², giving a population density of 2,091 people per square kilometre (Calgary averages about 300).
