How to read this result

The ranking compares the share of residents aged 65 and over. It does not indicate people’s health, care needs, or whether they are retired.

The highest result in this analysis is in Pump Hill, where 43.4% of the relevant Census population is represented by older residents. Across Calgary as a whole, the corresponding Census figure is 13.5%.
