Whitehorn (south) is a neighbourhood of Calgary, in Calgary. The 2021 Census recorded a population of 5,252 in Whitehorn (south) (people living in private households). Children aged 0 to 14 made up 19.4% of the population. 69.8% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 38.8% across Calgary as a whole; the largest single group was South Asian at 30.2%. 27.0% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 3.2% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 45.4% of the population, compared with 31.5% citywide. Median household income before tax was $88,000 in 2020, compared with $100,000 for Calgary. 29.0% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 1.34 km², giving a population density of 3,924 people per square kilometre (Calgary averages about 300).
