Stoney 2 is a neighbourhood of Calgary, in Calgary. The 2021 Census recorded a population of 3,267 in Stoney 2 (people living in private households). Children aged 0 to 14 made up 20.3% of the population. 44.0% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 38.8% across Calgary as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 17.7%. 51.4% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 4.6% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 32.2% of the population, compared with 31.5% citywide. Median household income before tax was $72,500 in 2020, compared with $100,000 for Calgary. 50.9% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 38.39 km², giving a population density of 85 people per square kilometre (Calgary averages about 283).
