Saddle Ridge (west-southwest) is a neighbourhood of Calgary, in Calgary. The 2021 Census recorded a population of 4,968 in Saddle Ridge (west-southwest) (people living in private households). Children aged 0 to 14 made up 22.4% of the population. 92.8% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 38.8% across Calgary as a whole; the largest single group was South Asian at 60.1%. 7.0% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 0.3% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 60.9% of the population, compared with 31.5% citywide. Median household income before tax was $105,000 in 2020, compared with $100,000 for Calgary. 33.8% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 0.75 km², giving a population density of 6,638 people per square kilometre (Calgary averages about 283).
