Saddle Ridge (north-northwest) is a neighbourhood of Calgary, in Calgary. The 2021 Census recorded a population of 3,651 in Saddle Ridge (north-northwest) (people living in private households). Children aged 0 to 14 made up 22.5% of the population. 93.7% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 38.8% across Calgary as a whole; the largest single group was South Asian at 72.2%. 5.0% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 1.4% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 58.0% of the population, compared with 31.5% citywide. Median household income before tax was $114,000 in 2020, compared with $100,000 for Calgary. 17.4% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 0.57 km², giving a population density of 6,445 people per square kilometre (Calgary averages about 300).
