East Shepard Industrial is a neighbourhood of Calgary, in Calgary. The 2021 Census recorded a population of 755 in East Shepard Industrial (people living in private households). Children aged 0 to 14 made up 7.3% of the population. 18.8% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 38.8% across Calgary as a whole; the largest single group was South Asian at 8.0%. 68.8% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 12.5% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 16.1% of the population, compared with 31.5% citywide. Median household income before tax was $70,000 in 2020, compared with $100,000 for Calgary. 17.0% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 86.93 km², giving a population density of 9 people per square kilometre (Calgary averages about 283).
