Dover (west-southwest) is a neighbourhood of Calgary, in Calgary. The 2021 Census recorded a population of 6,896 in Dover (west-southwest) (people living in private households). Children aged 0 to 14 made up 14.3% of the population. 29.6% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 38.8% across Calgary as a whole; the largest single group was Black at 6.4%. 63.4% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 6.9% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 25.8% of the population, compared with 31.5% citywide. Median household income before tax was $67,000 in 2020, compared with $100,000 for Calgary. 36.7% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 2.78 km², giving a population density of 2,480 people per square kilometre (Calgary averages about 300).
