Charleswood (northwest) is a neighbourhood of Calgary, in Calgary. The 2021 Census recorded a population of 2,746 in Charleswood (northwest) (people living in private households). Children aged 0 to 14 made up 17.1% of the population. 21.8% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 38.8% across Calgary as a whole; the largest single group was Chinese at 7.6%. 75.2% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 2.9% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 18.2% of the population, compared with 31.5% citywide. Median household income before tax was $120,000 in 2020, compared with $100,000 for Calgary. 15.7% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 1.07 km², giving a population density of 2,573 people per square kilometre (Calgary averages about 300).
