Beddington Heights (southwest) is a neighbourhood of Calgary, in Calgary. The 2021 Census recorded a population of 4,382 in Beddington Heights (southwest) (people living in private households). Children aged 0 to 14 made up 19.3% of the population. 38.8% of residents identified as members of a racialized (visible minority) group, against 38.8% across Calgary as a whole; the largest single group was Chinese at 13.6%. 54.3% were Caucasian (not a visible minority, excluding Indigenous identity), and 6.8% reported Indigenous identity. Immigrants made up 35.6% of the population, compared with 31.5% citywide. Median household income before tax was $86,000 in 2020, compared with $100,000 for Calgary. 32.0% of households rented rather than owned. The neighbourhood covers 1.09 km², giving a population density of 4,016 people per square kilometre (Calgary averages about 300).
